The Ventus Funds win 'VCT of the Year' award

Ventus VCT plc has won 'VCT of the Year' at Investment Week's investment trust award ceremony.

The award is the Ventus team's second of 2009. In January, Ventus VCT plc was named 'Specialist Investment Vehicle of the Year' at the Quoted Company Awards.

The three Ventus VCTs, which total £50m, focus on investing in small to medium size onshore renewable energy projects in the UK, including onshore wind; landfill gas; hydro electric and biomass.
